How Can An Aesthetician Help Me?

Great question, I’m glad you asked.

As an Aesthetician I am able to address any skin concerns you might have on a day-to-day basis. Got acne? Got fine lines & wrinkles? Uneven skin tone? Need something waxed? Need to relax? Need extractions? Want a body wrap or scrub? Microdermabrasion? Glycolic Peel? Eyebrow’s tinted and styled? I can do all of these things and honestly I like them all so very much I couldn’t pick just one as my favorite.

I can also help you choose the best products for your skin and let me say – they don’t HAVE to be expensive. Sure there are great products out there that are pricier but there are just as many drugstore products that work too. Just like your individual body, your skin is yours alone and what works for one person will probably not work for another with the exception of one thing – SUNSCREEN or sunscream as my eldest calls it.  Choose at least a 30SPF and reapply every two hours if you are constantly in the sun (like the beach or pool or even an outdoor activity), avoid anything that’s over 50SPF because it actually isn’t doing anything special for you and in my opinion is a bit deceiving because people often think “Oh it’s a higher SPF, I can go longer without it.” Not the case. Every single skin tone needs sunscreen. Beige, Brown, Chocolate, Ebony, Olive, etc. Every, single, one. (I can do an entire post on this, and I will!) An Aesthetician may even suggest dietary changes to help skin concerns.

Note: Unless otherwise stated an Aesthetician is not a medical doctor, we cannot diagnose any medical conditions. If there is something we notice that we believe might be a problem (also could be nothing!) we will suggest you visit a doctor – most likely a dermatologist.
